Dear Everybody,
For two years now, there has been a Three Creeks wall calendar given to various friends, family, and those who have done the most to support me in fixing this place up. I’m about to design the one for 2025, using photos I’ve taken over the course of the year. If you’ve seen the photo album, you know that the accusation that I live in a postcard isn’t far off. The calendar is my chance to select the best photos for each season and put them on display.
This year I’m offering everyone the opportunity to buy a calendar. If you would like one, you can pre-order the 2025 calendar at my Ko-fi store. (The picture there is of last year’s cover; I’ll update it once I finalize the design for 2025.) I’m asking $20, including free shipping within the continental U.S., in the hope of raising a little extra to help me through the holidays. Several people who have received one in previous years have told me later how much they enjoy it—if someone in your life likes wall calendars, consider ordering one as a gift.
I’m hoping to send it to the printer before the end of next week, so the initial deadline to order is 11/21 (next Thursday). Printing will take two weeks, factoring in the Thanksgiving holiday, so with luck I’ll be shipping them out in the first week of December. That should give them plenty of time to arrive by Christmas and the new year. I’ll have a few extras on hand if you order after the 21st, and I’ll do another printing in December if I get another half-dozen orders, but they may cost a bit more if you wait. The overhead goes up when I’m ordering only a few at a time.
Thanks for your patience, and I hope your winter goes well. My next newsletter will go out on the Winter Solstice, December 21.
